I am Going Dubai for a Month

i am going to dubai for a month, will fly on 7th april :-)

Do one of the many food and spice tours! get out in the desert hundreds of tours to choose from, theres a hop on hop off bus tours that give you a good look at the city, if only to spot where you want to go back to.

Night club wise..

Warm up and dinner at Barefoot Lounge at Marine Beach!

Three names for you Trilogy, Club 360 and Nasimi Beach, all great clubs, hot chicks galore! get there early! Theres lots of nice to shity English style pubs and bars around as well.

Main tip I would give is if your going out.. your going out meaning a taxi from your hotel to your destination and the same on the way home, bar hopping and stuff is risky if you have been drinking, to and from the hotel is fine..

Its an amazing city of diverse culture that will blow your mind, enjoy your stay, beware of Englishmen selling condos

Dubai isn't as expensive as you would imagine, certainly day to day. If you want to go and rent a boat, jet ski or whatever, sure it's going to cost you a lot. I found the best food was mostly on the beach, the little local restaurants offering middle eastern cuisine you could get a 3 course meal for two for under $30. The good thing about Dubai is only certain places serve alcohol, you are not tempted to rack up an extra $40-50 in beers with lunch like I usually do on a vacation.

The metro line is amazing and cheap, don't Uber or get Taxis unless you are in a rush. I took a taxi from Dubai to Abu Dhabi, it cost me $55 and Abu Dhabi is cheaper than Dubai and pretty cool to see, I recommend doing that if you have a whole month. You can also take a day trip to Oman for a reasonable price, I think about $120 per person and it includes meals.

If you go drinking then you're gonna spend big but hanging out on the beach, eating local cuisine and enjoying your hotel pool is not going to cost you a lot. Don't take the metro home after drinking, someone will call the Police for public intoxication, get a taxi from the venue, they're all approved and understand the person will have been drinking and you won't have any problems.

I loved Dubai, I am planning on going back next year with my wife and son who will be 1 year old, such a cool place.

Been several times.Nice and wonderful city.Most porn sites are blocked.Alcohol only in hotel or in special stores.And bit warm in july-august )))

Yeah taxi to the airport is about $10-15. I took a taxi from Abu Dhabi to Dubai airport, about 80 min drive and it was $50 lol.

Was in Dubai last year for 2 days. And that was plenty enough. FYI, Abu Dhabi is much cheaper than Dubai.

Dubai is a great city, but it's like others ie., Paris, London etc. After the 5th day you've seen enough. The best secret about Dubai is the "old" city. It's a huge mix of people from India-Morocco. If you're a "foodie" this place in unbelievably cheap and good. Like really good, especially the seafood.
