Scott Pruitt Trump EPA pick rented a room from a oil and gas lobbyist in DC and charged the "daily" room rent to the EPA. On top of this, his daughter often stayed at the same condo and Pruitt charged the rent for his daughter to the EPA even if he was not there..

The bigger issue is that he was paying $50 a night to rent a nice condo in downtown Washington DC. He couldn't even stay in a Motel 6 for that. Clearly, these lobbiest were giving him an incredibly reduced rate and they do him a solid by holding the room for him when he is out of town but not forcing him to pay for those days. I'm sure they won't want anything in return for their generosity.

He should never have been appointed to the EPA at any position in the first place. But his time is limited as the powers that be are looking for someone to replace him. Hopefully he will be better than this asshole was. But being the Donald's administration there is a good chance that the new person will be just as bad.
