Out of body, white light at end of tunnel solved.

Was listening to NPR radio yesterday and the US military was investigating why they were having a lot of crashes when training Air force pilots. There was like 9 crashes in one year so they started investigating what was going on.

Turns out in high G maneuvers the brain can "lose sense" of the body. At the edge of black out the brain can lose its contact with the body meaning your brain gets confused and doesn't know what is going on so it attempts to recreate what it believes is happening. This can last from just a few seconds to 30 seconds.

In some people they might have about of body experance, other people might see the tunnel with the white light at the end others might experance some random encounter as your brain tries to recreate what it thinks is happening so it replays a memory..

Seems this is the same thing people see in near death experiences where they claim to be out of their body. Turns out it's just the brain not knowing what is going on not some Jesus experance.

When you go through the light at the end of the tunnel, you find yourself in a hospital, naked, being smacked on the bottom by a doctor... You realise you cant do anything for yourself, nor talk or even eat solid food. All you are given is milk by some strange lady who takes you home and takes care of you.

Because you are in such an out of control situation, all you do is cry and cry but gradually you forget about your old life, and forget about the things you have forgotten how to to.

Same here but sometimes things come back into the publics eyes for various reasons. Here in America military pilits & astronaus go through "High-G" training and at one point are forced to G-LOC (g-induced loss of consciousness) so they the signs before passing out due to G Force. Part of High-G training is the human centrifuges machine, this is where they are forced to pass out due to G forces. Video below.

We've had this training since 1973 in America, but had to college since the forties, so we are well aware tha G-forces make you"see the light"
