No.. there is a very big difference at what Obama did vs Cambridge.

Obama's staff did everything in house and was not selling Data to a 3rd party. They used it for their own research in house as Facebook allows.

With Cambridge.. they used a small company to build a app. The app stated it was a personality profiler. What the app did was leeches your info AND every person you had friended. This is aginst Facebook tos.

Meaning people who didn't install the app had their data taken. On top of this the company then sold the data to Cambridge which was their parent company who then sold it to Trump and Cruz campaign as well as the Russians.

The difference is very very big.. but of course you just hear Obama used Facebook and it = samething because you need excuses to make it all ok..

Added to this the Trump campaign can't play ignorant to this because both Steve Bannon and Flynn worked for Cambridge while this was being done.

In short I'm sure we will be seeing a Steve Bannon indictment soon..

Oh and the best part, is now Cambridge, Bannon and maybe Flynn can now be charged in the UK.. Meaning they are fucked even if Trump tries to pull some shit..

Honestly, I even hate using a cell phone because it's a tracking device in your pocket that the govt can go after the data if they want to charge you with something..

All of this shit was made to invade our privacy.. There is literally zero reason for wireless providers to store your past location data aside from being able to give it to the govt/police.

The phone needs your current location to operate but it damn sure doesn't need your past location but the wireless companies sure as hell keep that data.. Why? Because the govts of the world want access to it..

I mentioned it to her, and she said she never made any such post. We looked into it and it turns out she took a quiz and in the terms it says they were going to capture and store her personal information AND make posts on her behalf. We turned off all of that shit a long time ago.

They aren't tracking us, but when there is an incident they start looking into our phone records. If there is a robbery, they look at what cell phones pinged what tower. If there are four or five locations and one cell phone pings all of those towers, they pull that cell phone number and figure out who it is. You can argue it's an invasion of privacy, but it's not any different than when a video camera picks up your license plate number at the scene of a crime.

I've said this before in GFY... They can track me all I want. They can read my texts, my emails.... Everything in my life is rather dull and boring. Mostly my texts are about our plans for dinner each night.

That's something I can support, facebook was a great idea in the beginning, now it's a company easy to despise.

They go to the scene of the crime and they investigate. The surrounding area has video cameras. The surrounding area has cell phone towers. One way or another law enforcement will get that video footage or meta data.

Just in case anyone hasn't figured this out yet... Your data does not belong to you. It never has.

Right now everyone is making a big deal about Facebook and this information. They could have just bought the information. There are companies out there and all they do is collect and sell data.

The problem is not where things are now Rochard it's where things are headed if we let them track everything we do and say.

Look at Russia & China. They started with tracking everything everyone does, that turns into controling what people say & do. Look what Trump is trying to do with social media. Look at how Fox news has changed. It's a downward slope to fascism and we cannot allow that.
