I know, boring topic, but I'm in need of a good dvd burner. Any ideas out there?

I have the Pioneer A05, just have to make sure you get some good media for it. Heard Verbatim ones are the best but a bit pricey for each disk.

Sony 500AU
bruns +/-/and ram
I had the Sony 120 but it shit the bed on me. Just picked up the 500 and it has been burning practically non-stop for the past few days.

I also buy my media is bulk. Just make sure you get the type that works best with what your are burning. I think I paid $400 for 250 disks.

I've had my eye on that Sony because it burns in so many different formats.

Is there a certain format that is better for burning movies from a digital camcorder?

while i dont rip DVDs or deal with downloading them.

4.5 gigs are fun and cool.
