    I didn't vote for Trump But...

    Get real, Trump didn't shoot up the school himself.
    That shit would have happened on the same day no matter who was the president.



    But all that talk about "mentally ill" is bullshit; put this motherfucker to death for these murders.

      Correct Trump is not directly responsible.

      But - unfortunately there is a kid like that in every school. Normally they grow up, or end up in prison. Arming them to the teeth is a very bad idea.

      Trumps level of responsiblity is debatable, on the one hand he is new in the job and the gun epidemic is the failure of govt for many decades, but he has sucked up to the NRA and his base would turn in their pick ups if they thought he was about to take their guns.

      So Trump could do something fairly simple, like raising the age of gun ownership to 21, but I dont think he has the balls.

          Only a mentally ill 19 year old wants to shootup kids at school, however he could not goto the store snd buy an AR15 to do it if those guns were limited to 21 years old and over for all sales private or in store.

          Basic common sense and for a few million dollars you can buy the congress too.

              The whole "21 years old" shit in America is way out of hand.
              Why?

              We tell people to get the fuck out of mom's house at 18 and be "on their own" ;
              but they can't take a beer or a gun with them.
              What's the fucking point of leaving?

                          FBI doesn't follow up on 2 credible leads, Police go to the kids house 40 times, kid is banned from High School & was caught with shell casings in his backpack.

                          Tell me again why I should give up my guns to the above mentioned Government so they can protect me instead.

                                  This isn't about Trump. It's about our political system who cannot seem to get a handle on our issues.

                                  Take gun control out of it, and then take Trump out of it.

                                  Obama was in office eight years and during his time in office our opioid went from bad to worse. Some how this has been totally ignored by our government. I live in a small(ish) sleepy bedroom community and every morning we wake up and the local police (with all of our three officers on duty) have made multiple arrests for driving under the influence of opioids....

                                  Now let's return back to gun control. Obama was in office during Sandy Hook and yet nothing was done.
