you know what's really cool?
the local locksmith is a welder. a really great welder and he modifies stuff when I need custom camera mounts, custom lighting mounts etcetera. and he is super OCD and everything he does...fucking awesome!!
next project, electronics 'guy'. I'm always needing cords modified and repaired, lights rebuilt, repaired, just regular stuff... and I think I have found them.... the guys doing my dash cam. yup pretty sure those are the 'guys'. I'm thinking you ask around in your area and there will be a 'guy' somewhere that can modify stuff for you.
