I have no idea what you have heard, I don't think I ran around bragging on them beyond posting a thank you.
I have received 2 very nice gifts from Chaturbate across the 4 years that I have actively been promoting them.
Across that time I have sent them $340k worth of sales that I know of. I also sent them about 3000 free sign ups on pay per lead ($1.00 per) when I started. I don't know how much revenue that produced for them, I hope a lot because I want to see Chaturbate stay around for a good long time yet (knock on wood).
I know I am very far from a big shot with Chaturbate though, there are many that have sent much more than me. I am just stupid enough to talk about it, ya know ;p

Back in 2001 you would get something nice for $10,000 in commission per year. At $25,000 you got something better. At $50,000 you might have been flown to Vegas for Internext and have been given a decent room and passes to the show. By 2004-2006 you would need $100,000 in commissions to get that level of treatment.
But back then there were also incentive programs already built into many different affiliate platforms. So Traffic Cash Gold gave you gold and you would use it to buy stuff in their affiliate store. Back in 2004 I used such things to get some very high end bikes for the kids, me and my wife. Got ipods for the kids. Got a poker table, chips, cards, etc...
These days? You need to hit perhaps $25,000 to $50,000 just to get some bullshit stuff from a sponsor. At the $100,000 level they might fly you somewhere close to meet them. But probably they will just send you a bunch of branded shit. Like you are really going to use a Chaturbate coffee mug around the house...
