    automated driving cars

    Wondering, are they built in to swerve or brake when a passing person walks, rides or drives infront of them...

    AI is logical & as we have all seen in films, AI robot, the robot saved the guy as he was the best choice, even though the guy (will smith) said "save the girl".


    So would a car brake and the passengers get hurt inside, braking so fast or would the car swerve, as most human drivers would do?


    I see an advert for Volvo, the door says there's a passenger as the car door is opening, so he closes the door and doesn´t get out, i´m sure the door would have closed on him if it was AI, trapping his leg in the door and braking his leg

    I now see taxi´s in London training for self automation, is it working well for other countries?

    Is AI and automated control to vehicles the new thing & is it going to continue?

      I can't answer your question... but here in San Francisco we have Wayma and they are EVERY WHERE.

          What if a swerve causes damage to others, or even causes a vehicle to flip? My *best guess* would be they are trained to brake, but have no idea. I'll take my chances utilizing my own driving skills over AI. Using auto driving cars is not anywhere in my near future.

              i read they´re building up a huge parking ticket collection worth millions, parking in spots while waiting for passengers

                  I have a sneaky suspicion that Trump will insist that the AI in the car do a facial recognition of passengers - if not white people or speak anything else other than proper english without an accent then the car will automatically lock the doors and drive the passengers to alligator alcatraz for processing.
