Wtf is happening with results on Google

I did some keyword research today and I checked competition on Google. I was shocked when I saw that in top 20, Google books are in 90 percent of results. Also, some spammy looking sites that redirects to adult offers, something like - nameoftownpubliclibrary.org, have excellent positions too.

How long will this thing last?

I?ve been noticing that too, with all the redirect websites. my websites that are white hat and ranked good just couple of months ago have basically feel off I?d like to hear some more input as well

then you did not check the update they mean XD

search for 'porn' no longer gives porn results

this was not the case previously

So the last update really did some weird changes

So the last update really did some weird changes

I think that it is too generic and to spammy to rank...We have an original content and our key words:"lesbian mistress movies" and "lesbian slaves videos" and are still on page 1 as of a minute ago. I am not an expert but belive that Google somehow figures out what is new and fresh and what is recycled...

Further, ALL the major tube sites above and below us on Google page 1 rank with the same key words, but show many clips form our sites... So NOT only Google but the xHams,xVideos, Phubs and others help us to rank high by putting our clips on their page 1.

Anyway I may be all wrong, but that is my view.

ohh yeh, dont get me wrong my sites didnt get hit at all either, and the update only seems to be for "generic" terms

stuff like
porn
bdsm porn
'niche' + porn

the moment someone types something like best porn sites nothing seems to have changed

Not sure I understand your reply, but my point was if you have an original and fresh content properly "keyworded" you will rank high, of not,then not....but good luck.

i just searched 'milf porn' and the first 3 pages are almost all tube sites with a couple other free sites and articles mixed in (like Cosmo's "what is a milf?" lol).

i'm wondering if you're seeing local results? i use a US proxy tunnel.

our traffic network-wide tripled since the 1st mainly from incoming G traffic. we have open tour architecture and good SEO tools. i spent all week adding new servers to our private cloud.

wiktionary comes up for porn top result - no tubes are coming up for porn for me anymore could vary with a different IP.

I have something like 150k backlinks with a term on one of my pages and it is still very low ranked I used to get tons of traffic. Instead of my page its books or a even another site with a single 'tag' nice results lol

Some results are pretty well but others seem to be all over the place with articles or books and dictionaries or spyware like you said
