I think everyone can agree that life in America is getting BETTER with President Trump in charge, can't we? People making more money, more jobs, less homeless people, the Middle Class is growing, our reputation in the world is great and getting better, immigration problem under control, guns everywhere but it's all good, mass killings nearly every week but that's ok (keeps people on their toes), healthcare is now affordable, the cost of living is going down not up, the county's crumbling infrastructure is all fixed now and Americans' quality of life is #1 in the world.

So who's complaining? TRUMP FOR LIFE!!!

Reality is YES, the economy is freakin' booming right now. And if you haven't felt the effects of that yet in your business...then you need to get to work. Opportunity is all anybody is "entitled" to in this life. And right now we are in the middle of lots of opportunity for people.

Many will make the most of it. But I'm sure there will be plenty of people being told by dishonest politicians that they are "victims" and just can't make it without govt. programs.

The economy is booming you say? For who? I do not see my sales going up. I do not see my house rising in value. I do not see my stock portfolio going crazy. I do not see my cost of living going down. Living in Manhattan for 30+ years I KNOW Donald Trump. All New Yorkers do. We KNOW HIM. The rest of America (and the world) just sees his tv character persona and buys the rhetoric but we know the REAL Trump. Thus, my concerns. Your comment - he only gives a fuck about himself - is the short answer.

But I WILL give Republicans some props here and why they are better at this game than the Democrats: When the Repubs get a man in the Oval Office they want in there they come prepared with a whole shitload of things on their agenda to change NOW. Fuck, do it in the middle of the night if need be just DO IT. That's why, after 9/11, the Republicans were raring to go with 1000 things they wanted pushed through Congress. They were just waiting for the moment to, ahem, pull the trigger.

The Dems? They get in and.....um, um....diddle away their power. (Which is why, BTW, I believe the Dems are playing the "Good Cop" to the Repub's 'Bad Cop'. In other words, they are all in on it together so fuck them BOTH.)

I can't think of a year where my rate didn't go up. Followed by my phone call dropping XYZ service that I didn't care about. Followed by their phone call back to me offering some "super duper package" to get my business back.

Just to touch on one point of this. I once got pulled over for speeding. There was a line of about 10 cars all doing the same speed. I said to the cop, "What about all the other cars that were speeding?" He replied, "You were the one that pulled over." I then said, "Well, that's the last time that happens." We both had a laugh. He let me off without a ticket :)
