I saw Star Wars the Last Jedi yesterday with my son. We saw it at Imax center seats 9am no line and assigned seats as I pre-ordered tickets with my Crown Regal card online Wednesday.
Ever since my son was little we've gone to see every Star Wars opening day.
Star Wars the Last Jedi is the best Star Wars ever. I thought the Star Wars franchise was dead after the last two, now it's been officially reborn

hell yeah..was awesome in the star fighter scenes.
it is 3d with moving seats and when characters fight sometimes the back of the seat punches your back when someone gets hit. They also now have a water off option...so you dont get sprinkled with water if you do not want.
It really adds to the movie i find.
i went with my two oldest sons...6 and 8...we brought lightsabers and i let them go to the front of the theater before the movie started to have a sword fight

- Luke dies retarded death.
- Snoke dies retarded death.
- Rey's parents are alcoholics who sold her off.
- Dark side is a literal shithole in the ground.

This is for you, good sir:
I love Star Wars, Star Trek and other Sci-fi Franchises. I almost always go and see these movies on opening day. I remember seeing the original 3 Star Wars movies as a kid. They didn't have reserved seating, so that meant buying tickets and waiting several hours in line. Star Wars: The Empire Strikes back, had a line that was 2 movies (4 hours!) long. It was freaking great.
They are already selling a 4K DVD on the streets in downtown Hong Kong - $6 USD
Only idiots buy that.
In order to appreciate Star Wars, you absolutely must see it in a real cinema, on a giant screen, with thundering sound and a crowd of Star Wars fanatics. Midnight premiere showings are even better. Overpriced snacks optional.

It was only marginally better than that third piece of shit, Return of The Jedi.
I was hoping for something on the scale of The Empire Strikes Back, but instead I got Leia doing the Peter Pan shit through space, Luke the Fucking Force Hologram, and Rey visits The House of Mirrors. It had it's moments, but the total bullshit moments and dragging on for 2 1/2 hours was enough to ensure that I wont be sitting through it in a theater for a second time or buying it on bluray. I may watch it on Netflix but thats about the only chance I'd give it again.
Chewie eating a Porg on a stick while the other Porgs watched in horror was probably one of the better scenes in the movie.
You really do hate Americans & American culture. Putin thanks you asshole.
Spoilers? Really? Fuck you asshole
Wow you really do want to destroy every thread on GFY leaving no place without your destructive negativity. It sucks Eric & AVN Networks Inc. allows you to try and tear this place apart.

Mark Hamill after learning what the did to the fucking movie and his character
I watched the new one today, didn't watch the last one, still understood the story line. There was a fighting scene with the red guys that looked way to choreographed (badly). But besides that, it was decent. I give it three and a half light saber whips out of five
This Star Wars doesn't look too good. You should just watch that "Guardians of the Galaxy 2", it is really good.
I saw "Guardians of the Galaxy 2" a couple weeks ago on Netflix, now I see why 38% of it's total gross was on it's opening weekend. Star Wars the Last Jedi was epic in comparison but I'm biased, I saw it with my kid and seeing star Wars on opening day is s family tradition, and this is our first time seeing Star Wars together on an opening night since he moved out with his GF 2 months ago.

Do you look at everything through the lens of a threatened white male? Take your fucking dress off Nancy and grow some nuts.

I liked GAG2, and thought it was better than the first. I thought it had more polish, and there were some really great stand-out moments. The scene with young Kurt Russel via new VFX wizardry at the beginning of the movie blew me away. It was funnier than the first and more fun overall I think.

Waiting in line for what? Bought my tickets online, no line to get my ticket, no line to get popcorn, pre-assigned seats... No issues at all.
Get a refund while you still can.
Only low iq people can like this movie, people that dont notice a lack of story or characterization. People that just like colors and explosions and vague references to old stuff.
We did the same. Looks like others here haven't been to a movie opening night for 10 years back in the day of long lines lol
A new theater opened up by us called Studio Movie Grill. It's reserved seating, a full bar, and you eat while you watch the movie. It's nice. Now all of the other theaters are going this route locally.
The theater I go has reserved seating, nice huge plush leather recliners. The reserved seating means you don't have to show up early and wait in line to get a good seat; I bought these seats a month ago. There wasn't a wait to buy popcorn or anything. It was nice.
I'm not wasting a single dollar on (((THEM))). Gonna torrent the fuck out of everything from now on.
Dude look.
Some people like me enjoy movies alot, and enjoy the whole movie-going experience. Besides the big picture and big sound, it's just fun enjoy a great story and shared experience with others. And spending $15-$20 for the experience isn't going to hurt anyone's bank account.
If you're not into movies and prefer to stay home, that's your choice. Personally, I think you're missing out. Movies on the big screen are thrilling to me.
You shouldn't brag about stealing movies. You work in the adult industry so you more than anyone else should understand the damage that piracy causes.
