Goodbye Fuckers!! I cashed out my BTC @ 15.000

I have been silent for the last few days - Sorry Gary, would have posted more in your retarded topic.

But to make a long story short - I cashed out my BTC @ 15.000

My plan was to cash out at 10k, because that would leave me with enough money - but I got greedy, and hung in there a little longer. Talked to the wife about it, and we moved the bar to 15000.

Gotta say its quite a problem to cash out, but thanks to fellow dane Niklas Nikolajsen (co founder at https://www.bitcoinsuisse.ch/ ) for helping us out,

So you wont see me around here anymore - look out for new silver Mercedes g350 with overpriced danish custom plates "freedomFun".

Funny to think about it - 9 years ago I almost died from cancer, and now I'm ready to move to Italy

Sounds like you're all out. Why? If you'd sold 66% of your holdings at $15k per you'd have as much as if you'd cashed out at $10k per, and you'd still have that 33% worth of BTC.

It's liquid, but the network is slow. If you're on coinbase and you decide to cash-out it can take a few days before its done.

No one really wants to cash-out as the value keeps climbing and climbing. Of course this changes instantly as soon as the value begins to drop but overall most people are just sitting on it.

Absolutely right.

If someone is having trouble cashing out, then it must be an issue with their exchange or the wallet they're using. There is nothing about crypto in and of itself that makes it difficult to cash out.

If you're not in a hurry, just sell a bit periodically, which will also help smooth over variations in value. This will help even if you're selling off relatively small amounts. If you are in a hurry, try setting a sell price around the buy price (ie you are closing the gap between the buy and sell price) which should execute reasonably promptly.

If you're a baller you may also run into problems with exchange imposed limits. The exchange I use limits fiat withdrawals to $AUD 100,000 per day (about $USD 75k). You can usually raise these limits by providing more detailed verification documents, but it may take some time for them to process your request.

Not sure if the OP ran into this sort of limit, or we're being trolled.

Not sure if the OP ran into this sort of limit, or we're being trolled.

I ran in to those problems, and the only way to solve it (for me as a private person) was through You are being redirected... with the help of a friend. The first few days, I was faced with 6-8 different "no" when I tried to sell through the larger brokers.

A lot of private people will run in to those problems in the future
