MyFreeCams - API?
Hello,
Does anyone know of an API or xml feed for MyFreeCams? I've seen other sites list mfc cam girls with their status but have no idea how they are doing this. Maybe they are constantly scraping and checking the status of the models with their own tool? |

from what I know not, the sites that do this use their own scripts, which is not too complicated to write, the mobile version of the site https://m.myfreecams.com/models is perfect for this.
but maybe API was available in the past? https://api.myfreecams.com

A client-side API for MyFreeCams can be coded, which provides as many fields of information that Chaturbate's API provides, if not more. I created this beast, and used to great financial success in the past. The information gotten from https://m.myfreecams.com/models is a joke compared to what can be done.
But MyFreeCams doesn't make it easy. Because, I suspect they really, really don't want affiliates doing that. So I think its better to wait for MyFreeCams to offer an API for affiliates, which I doubt they will ever do. If anyone wants to attempt to code a client-side MyFreeCams API...LOL good luck to you. You'll need it. Edit: good find magneto664 on https://api.myfreecams.com maybe that link is a work in progress for them. We can only hope. Or maybe it was something they were going to do at one time, but was decided against. It would be a game-changer, though.
