    GoGoBar refuses to pay me for the gallery contest

    For those who don't know on April 17th Gogobar launched a gallery design contest
    for his site http://www.redpersonals.com with the following prices:

    1st prize - 100$
    2nd to 5th - 50$ each

    On April 23rd he picked the winners. My gallery template http://www.hustlerteens.com/redpersonals/
    came on the second place.








    So according to his own rules he owed me 50$ for my performance.

    I've contacted GoGoBar in the next day after he picked the winners to ask him about my prize. We had a little talk on ICQ about the payment method but after 2 minutes he made up an excuse and interrupted the conversation.

    Since then all my attempts to contact him have failed. Today he appeared online on ICQ most of the time but he choose to ignore all my messages.

    I haven't got yet the money he owes me.

                                              And, I started a contest with the intention of paying $250 for 5 galleries and wound up paying like $700 for almost 20 galleries. I don't see how I did anyone wrong or how this contest was a bad idea. As you can see above I do pay for any work done and I've never used anyone's work I haven't paid for. Infact, there are MANY times I've paid a designer to design somethign and then NOT used it. But if they put the time in to do it, I paid them for it. That's just the right way to do things in my book.

For future reference, when waiting on money, however important it may be to you, you have to wait at least 7 days probably before you can go and do this kind of bullshit if not longer. I mean you always have the option of email, talking to someone who knows the person you are trying to get ahold of and can pass a message along for you, but don't pull this type of shit until you've exhausted all types of options and waited several days at the least. I mean fuck I know people are online when I hit them on ICQ and sometimes it takes a couple hours to say hello all the time, people are busy, they forget to turn their away message on, shit happens, just wait next time.

Just come clean to it and take it like a man and we'll all forgive you eventually but probably not real fast. For future reference, when waiting on money, however important it may be to you, you have to wait at least 7 days probably before you can go and do this kind of bullshit if not longer. I mean you always have the option of email, talking to someone who knows the person you are trying to get ahold of and can pass a message along for you, but don't pull this type of shit until you've exhausted all types of options and waited several days at the least. I mean fuck I know people are online when I hit them on ICQ and sometimes it takes a couple hours to say hello all the time, people are busy, they forget to turn their away message on, shit happens, just wait next time.

I don't offer design services in exchange of money so my experience is not very vaste when it comes about such things.
