:mad Fucking spamcop!

So here I am reading my second SpamCop infraction. What the fuck, I don't spam, ever. Apparently I got a press release placed in the PLR newsletter and now my ISP is ready to fry my access for "spamming". What the fuck? What would you tell the pricks at SpamCop? Or your ISP for that matter? God this pisses me off.

As I don't use a "hosting company" my "ISP" is giving me heat. In this case the people who host my server.

They threatened to turn me off on the first complaint. That was many months ago.

Ditch 'em. I would never host with a company that reads spamcop complaints, let alone follow up on them.

Ask your host to request what it'll take to 'pay them off'

spamcop has been "on the take" for a long time, a bunch of spamming fuckwits themselves...total hypocrits...

That's absurd.

Resolve this particular issue with your isp, and then tell them to go fuck themselves.

What's crazy is a hosting company that listens to spamcop complaints.

I have to apologize for that complaint - I am not sure what the deal is but so you know, the newsletter goes out to 22,000 webmasters weekly about half of which are sites listed on PLR and it looks like someones messing with me. I got a total of 5 complaints from them last month. One complaint is from casino-cashgames.com. casino-cashgames.com's site was listed on PLR untill I pulled the link yesterday after the complaint.

If they didn't want emails they shouldn't have registered on PLR and agreed to get them, as they had to do, as well as click the confirm link to get them listed in the first place. Not to mention they can just opt out but I know how some people are about opt-out boxes.

We are dealing with spamcop on the issue - we have the IP address and the emails of the people who complained - but again sorry if you got heat from your host and myself or our host will contact them if you want.

spamcop is the most annoying thing *EVER* - It is fucking worse then spam... I hate spam but I also can't stand getting more spam in my snail mail box everyday.

I would rather have to hit the delete key then filter through junk mail in my mailbox especially when half the time the fucking post man puts mail in the middle.

spews is the one your ISP has to watch out for - once your listed on that good luck getting off. I have yet to see someone get removed from spews....

Hmmmm... Well that's interesting because I have your newsletter from 6/8 and 6/14 and I did NOT opt-in for your newsletter or resource site. Matter of fact I never even heard of you.

The email address is one I use for all my TGP submissions, and it seems that many TGP owners use it without permission to sign up
for all sort of shit. However, if is double opt-in like you say, I would have to confirm it from my email address....THAT DIDN'T happen.

So it appears the users complaining about SPAM, may have a legitimate beef, since your list manager appears to be bullshit.

I use SPAMCOP all the time, and although mistakes are made, they provide a useful service. Please note that SPAMCOP will go after the SPAMVERTISED site, and not just the source of the SPAM email.

Then you probably have submitted to one or both of our TGP's - Postconnection and thexxxconnection - in the terms on all of our sites confirmation emails they say we plan to email you and if you don't want it them to opt out - thats not the way it's written but that's the idea - We mail to webmaster about our industry and I don't want to mail anyone not interested and we have a working opt out - I have been mailing the newsletter since 2001 and I resently took over the editorial part of the newsletter which may be the reason you didn't get one before now.

Please if you want off just opt out or email me the next one with a remove request I gauranntee it will be honored!

Spamcop is an excellent service. They don't complain to your isp - PEOPLE THAT YOU SPAM DO. Spamcop just passes along the complaint.

Now as it happens, anybody emailing 1,000 or more opt-ins will sooner or later get a spamcop report because somebody forgot they joined or just hates you.

Its your brain-dead isp who is at fault here, they are not supposed to act on a single spamcop complaint, but should pay attention if they get a bunch.

By the way, all the spam floating around supposedly sent by spamcop is forged - spammers trying to get even with the good guys.
