anybody else watching "Punisher"?

I didn't like it at first. He seems to talk about his family too much. I think they had to do that though or he would look like a psychopath.

But in the comic, that I used to read, He was a narcissistic psycho. Which was a good side character for other comics like Daredevil and Spider-Man.

But after watching the series a couple of times. I like it now.

the first movie was better. the show sucks ass! he cries and tells stories too much. its shayne from the walking dead without the zombies. its funny as hell he's looking after a boy and girl like the walking dead.

Punisher definitely gets better as it goes. Even my wife got sucked in.

It's about a lot more than you think it's going to be, and it's not full of action -- which is a good thing. When the action does happen, it's brutal. Hard to believe that Disney is now making shows like this.

Really enjoyed that. Not as top notch as some of the other Netflix shows, but it was definitely worth a watch. Some good characters, decent dialogue and story, just the right amount of action and a few holy shit moments.

I watched the very first episode of Mindhunter on NF a couple of days ago. Anyone else watch it and does it get better?

Programming today is a race between software engineers striving to build bigger and better idiot-proof programs, and the Universe trying to produce bigger and better idiots. So far, the Universe is winning.

Me too. It was pure agony to sit through that pretentious drivel... And i was looking forward to this show. Huge let down. The scene at the bar was the last straw for me before i shut it off: A seemingly neverending, all around boring, totally irrelevant conversation, complete with artsy yellow subtitles as if this uninteresting convo should not be missed by any means.

But the lack of reality during this pickup ritual is what threw me off from the start. The guy is boring and awkward. The girl is flirty and expressionistic. In real life, the girl would be turned off by his inability to keep her interested and hop on to the next guy. But for some reason she chose to spent all night talking about nothing with this bore. It was like they were forced to go on a blind date and felt obligated to spend hours with each other, even though the chick wasn't interested at all. This was a prime example of what 'zero chemistry' looks like.

Ive recently started, and I have to say I don't like it too much....not sure why tbh. Im not a big fan of that guy playing Punisher in the first place. Last good tv series I've watched was MindHunter

Yes. Like any good show, it starts ok, gets beter, then floors you in the last two episodes. It's worth your time.

Yes, they had zero chemistry and it's an intentional story choice. Not every relationship should work, and not all people are meant to be together.

If you watch all the episodes, it will become clear why that scene is there. The main character may seem boring at first, but you find as the story develops he's a deep and interesting character -- and the "opposites attract" aspect of his relationship with his girlfriend is deeply explored. No scene is wasted. By the end of the season, you'll look back on their chat in the bar in a whole different light. They should have never gotten together in the first place, but she's an important part of his character development. If all of this goes over you head, then don't bother watching the rest and go back to picking your ass crack.

I have that on my TO WATCH list. I did like him in Dare Devil which I thought was a great series.

Watching Iron Fist right now and about 6 episodes in and still unsure if I like it..

Patiently waiting for Dec 1st when Agents of Shield is back on. Inhumans was decent.
