Retailers in Australia are now having Black Friday sales.

What the fuck does a sale day based on an American specific tradition have to do with Australia? Or any other country besides the USA, for that matter?

I've never done the Black Friday thing. I guess I did once, back when we needed memory cards for our cameras. I could have waited two weeks and bought it at the same price.

The deals I've seen aren't worth getting stampeded by crazed housewives for. People will do anything to save a few bucks.

There's a gas station in my neighborhood that charges 10 cents less for all of it's gas, and there's always a 10 minute wait to get gas. I go to the Shell down the street which costs more but I'm in and out in 2 minutes. I don't understand people who would rather wait in line to save a couple of dollars on their tank of gas. The same way I don't understand those mongoloids who kill each other to get a bargain on a TV or kid's toy.

There's no need to do door crashers anymore anyway, there isn't an online store out there that doesn't have black friday deals. I even got 25% off my goalie mask, zero lines.. heh

Anyone else find that these 'door crasher deals' are for things you probably don't need anyway? How often does someone need a new TV at the end of the day? I can barely justify picking up a second one myself.
