    Sata III PCIE Card

This is making me mad I got a SYBA 4x card here with the ASM106 in there and it won't let me boot from it unless it's in a 16x wide slot AND I'm only getting 370 meg speeds from my SSD
I tried it in T5400 and my T7500 machines same result every time
    That's really pissing me off
Who makes a better card what's the story here

The slots are only PCIE 2.1 but even a 1x card / slot should have enough bandwidth
Meanwhile with the card in the 4x or 8x slots it sees the card but the card says can't find any device
      Stupid

I'm no expert but you may need to load the drivers for the card into the BIOS to make it bootable or tell the BIOS where to look for the card.

When the card is on a slot other than 16x at boot I can see the card bios come up and all so it sees the card but then the card bios reports the CAN'T FIND ANY DEVICE
... it's dumb the hell as fuck

Well I think I was right the card is running 1x due to being garbage and a scam
                  That's why I'm limited to 374
