Do you have a specific place you drive to when you usually want to get some breathing space ??
I'm thinking of taking a trip alone for a few days. No Internet. No tv. Just some peace and quiet and recharge. My energy levels are low and I just feel drained.
Pity it's cold as shit here now...

Yep, have had those places in the past, depending on where I was living. I haven't had the recent bad luck you have and I'm still feeling drained with that British mid-November feeling.
If I go for a run it sorts me out for about 24 hours, energy levels feel temporarily closer to Summer ones.

All the best!

I used to when I was younger. Nothing special; Just the parking lot behind where I used to work at fast food. It was a fun job, a good period during my life. That was in the Bay Area of San Franscisco; I don't get out that way too often and don't need "breathing space" like I did when I was younger. Now life is just so much easier.
There's some good roads to drive around loch lomond if you're near. I'm more north. I like a jaunt up to stonehaven that's a little gem. Especially the view at night from some of the restaurants.

Loch Lomond is a possibility. Been a few years since i took a trip there. Always liked the place. But again usually been when it's been warmer weather.
Might go to Loch Ness since i've never been and go monster hunting!!

Usually just an hour or so south of the city to get out of traffic and just cruise. Christmas I'll be driving to Tampa so 18ish hour drive, probably stop in Chattanooga as dig the views. My uncle owns a lot of mountain lots out there.
