starting a paysite... setting up w/ ibill, ccbill, pros? cons?
For those that have your own pay sites. What are the pros and cons of ibill, ccbill , and some of the others? Which have setup fees? Which are free?
Any problems with certain ones? |

I can tell only good things about CCbill(eu) and GloBill. I am using both and their customer service is really great and checks arriving on time. I didn't have to pay any setup fees.
No problems so far... |

Okay, CCBill etc. charge $750 for Visa, but other than that never charged a setup fee that I know of. So why in the world does Yambo charge $195?

We charge setup fee just to avoid customers who just want to signup - this process takes a little time. That is not that big amount of money to be scared of I think if you really need a processing solution

gothweb,
Sure you would. Unless you're running a small paysite, right?

gothweb,
I think ppl with small ones would go with no-setup processor, ppl with middle ones would go with ccbill, ibill, yambo or whatever and ppl with big ones would get their own merchant account where they would be charged like 4.5% ![]()

Btw we can skip the setup fee if it really matters. Like I said - this fee is just to make sure the deal is serious.

Peeps, Yambo is the best, Im using them already for 5 months now and really i cant say anything more but they have EVERYTHING what a webmasters needs.
I can accept paypal payments, i can accept creditcard, and western union and alot more. And they are offering nice support the whole day too. My point for yambo is a ten and for the rest a five, why? CCBill.: 750$ to accept visa IBill.: 750$ to accept visa PSWBilling.: Needs a european company anotherwise no visa i didt try out the rest (ACPay,Verotel and some more), but i like yambo and will continue to use yambo and yambo is offering a realtime interface and verify options for creditcards and alot more. |

What are the holdbacks with Yambo? What is their scrub? What cards do they not process (asian, korean, etc). Do they wire or pay by check? And what about affiliates? |

Yambo is a offshore bank too, your funds will be there, you can order a maestro card for 20$ or a cirrus card for 20$ or a mastercard for 50$, nice options and offcourse wire transfer, western union, paypal, etc.
you need to talk to max about the holdbacks and the rest, i think the are differnt per site dont know, but my holdback is 10% if you dont have a yambo account yet signup at http://www.yambo.biz?ref=65878 and use my refferer id if you want. just sign up at the above url and you will get access to a offshore bank account for free, no charges, there are only charges if you order something a debitcard, etc. im not spamming here but helping this guy so please dont say im spamming, i just want to earn 1 cent lol. |

Because we do not setup new merchant accounts for your businesses. We process transactions through our accounts. That's why you don't have to pay $750.

Dawgy,
Yes you're right. But we don't setup that kind of merchant accounts like ibill does. If the client wants -- we can help with getting his own merchant account. But it's a little different from $750 accounts. It costs alot more.
