There's always 2 sides of every story and i can only tell mine

i talked to marty at noon and everything seemed ok,
we talked about me buying his shopping site he wanted to sell because he was going into business ( offline none adult )
with his mum.
When i came home (11pm) i notice my whole site had been deleted, everything ! !
I contacted him on icq and said what happend to aww and he said he took it down, i asked what the fu*k did you do that for
and there was no reason..he simply did not like the fact that iwas the owner of aww and i guess now that he will no longer be
involved in adult he didn't want me to have any success and decided to delete my site...no reason..no warning.
Even my old designs and interviews, the tutorials that were sent to me etc....evervything gone!
I assume he thought i never backed up anything, but i did
and uploaded what i had!
All of my sites always have a

i didn't even know he had hidden his own copyright into the tag

After reading all of Marty's previous posts I am shocked at the way he is acting now.

I thought I might add that Firehorse and I have both doen business with Kevin in the past (soley Kevin - marty was not involved in our agreements) and Kevin has always come thru on his word .. even with nothign in writing just an verbal agreement on the phone or when he would visit us.

Kevin and Marty TOGETHER offered us a partnership in a project they had goign and we were keen to do it - until Marty ICQ's me one night tellign me to take down soem smilies off our Message board because HE had designed them.

I never heard of anyone gettign anal over a smilie before - god knows they all become "Public Domain" as soon as they hit the screen
so it was then immediately we decided that anyone who takes copyright over a SMILEY so damn seriosuly is not a person to do biz with and we pulled out of the deal before we even got started.

I was never paid for any work I did because it was made quite clear that it was not for sale and we never had an arrangement that I would work FOR you, only WITH you. The only payments I ever received were my share of the advertising revenue.

From nowhere? I have meters of ICQ logs of me complaining about his lazyness and lack of ethics in honouring our agreement. This has been going on for over a year.


That was months ago and I've been on his back since December 2002 about finding someone to sell the advertising for him because he hasn't pulled his weight before and after his wifes illness. He finally found someone 2 weeks ago and was only just setting up her email. My pations has worn out now.


Do I look like lifeline? I worked long and hard to build what I had and his wifes illness was not an issue except for 6 weeks in the period between Feb 2002 and now. That's over 14 months.


I was paid the monies owed according to our agreement. What gives is the fact that he copied and uploaded my property. I did not work FOR him and he does not own my work. My work was not to be his property nor was it available to be purchased.


My work was not for sale untill 3 days ago. He can either delete it of the server or purchase it of me for a just price.


I worked thousands of hours over the last year and you are telling me that the 10 hours he spent driving his wife to the hospital make up for that? I got paid peanuts because less than a bare minimum of advertising was sold. We had 112 spots for advertising totaling US$11,000 worth per month and there wasn't a single month where we had more than 3 (three) ad sold. And I'm talking about the entire last YEAR.

The tutorials (the ones I didn't write myself), the articles (the ones I didn't write myself) and the resource submissions were sent to me for my resource site. If any of them were sent to you I guess they would be yours and then it is your fault for not having a copy of them. The 2 interviews are yours and you do have a copy of them, and your previous site you can download from here .

In regards to the price, I asked for AUS$15,000 which is about US$9,250 for the design, functionallity and content which I have accumulated and produced over the last 14 months. All the stuff I have was sent to me for my resources. The price would pay for a completely established and proven site.

I guess you'll be removing my stuff then and pay me 50% of any advertising revenue generated by the resource site according to our contract? You know that I offered you the termination of our contract with the sale of the site.
