But after the election, someone in either the Republicans or the Clinton camp told the media that it existed and they ran with it for just what it was. With the note that they could not prove what was in the dossier because the sources were in Russia and they had no contact as the former British intelligence officer had with Russian officials to confirm or deny what he wrote. He did not give sources and hid when this went public.

And that is probably why nobody in either two groups made the info public till he won the election. But You would have just as much trouble finding out who leaked the idea that this dossier was out there. One of the segregates for a Republican candidate or one in the Clinton camp. Nobody expected he would win till he did. Seemed irrelevant.

So that is the truth as it has been presented. No matter what some in the media might say. But I think most media would agree with this assessment. Even though nobody has made this complete story of it.
