Fellas, this is a great example of why the US is finished. It's such an us vs them scenario now. I am not a Trump supporter. But I do like facts.
Trump DIDN'T say that Japan needs to start making cars in the US. He said they need to make MORE cars. For Christ's sake, that was in the headlines. But people hear what they want to hear.
I didn't think Trump would last a year in office. Now I'm almost convinced he'll win a second term. Stuff like this only galvanizes Trump supporters.
Trump commits verbal atrocities on a daily basis. No need to put words in his mouth. It only makes you look bad.
For the record - I like Mark and Rochard. Don't always agree with what they say, but they're civil and if I met them IRL, the first drink would be on me.

Hey, I agree. I try to avoid it as much as possible but listening to Trump talk is a horrifying experience. It's all fractured phrases and it's not easy to know what he really means
I did not listen to the actual speech but did read the headlines and all said "more cars". Hence my post and document.
