Are Americans Retarded?

Specifically when it comes to the guns v no guns debate...

Bare in mind that there are probably more Americans on this forum than not so the results may be skewed.

ANY American who has served in the military and thinks ANY gun ban of ANY kind is OK hasn't taken their oath seriously. ANY American who wants to take guns away from other Americans is a traitor. PERIOD.

So yeah, some Americans, like Rochard for instance, are retarded. Why in the hell would you take an oath to serve your country then turn around and piss on the very Constitution you swore to protect?

Hang the traitors.

Are Republicans retarded.. the answer is yes.. while sure the far left does some dumb thigs here and there, but the sad fact is almost all of Americas "dumb" problems come from the right wing, aka Republicans..

The one thing I always expected Trump to do is tackle the gun problem and I still do!

Wait till he gets mass shooting number 17 go down on his watch and then see how willing he is to listen to the NRA anymore.

over 60% of gun related deaths are suicides, I have no remorse for quiters

I took that Oath to protect the constitution and all I ever hear from liberals is their hate for it, how they want to change it. How they want to erase the mention of it by taking down historical statues when most of those statues are of Democrats that are just ashamed of their history. They even want to take down the statue of President Lincoln, he freed the slaves, but they contend that he didn't convict those that fought against the union during the civil war and want his statue taken down.

They want to have control over the American people at any cost and seen with the recent revelations of selling 20% of our weapons grade uranium to Russia without going to congress, which is treason in my book. Inventing bullshit with Fusion GPS and all the other slights that have been committed by the left. And they have the balls to say guns are a problem?, fuck them!

I feel for the people that voted for Bernie Sanders that found out that the DNC threw there vote under the bus!

It's not a gun problem.

Take Chicago, did you know that Lamar Harris had seven felony convictions and 43 arrests when he shot three Chicago police officers. The same week, Samuel Harviley, who had just been paroled after serving less than half of his sentence for armed carjacking, shot yet another of the Windy City?s finest.

The problem is the liberal judges

It's a gun law problem.

The guy had domestic abuse charges, anywhere else in the world he's never buying guns again legally and if he posts them on his social media accounts he's locked up for it.

The United States doesn't have a gun problem. We have a mental health problem and until we figure out a good way to deal with it the gun violence/mass shootings will not stop.

It allows people that knew him to call the cops and say he's posting pictures with a gun he's some how come in to possession of.

So the Logic is Americans need guns to protect themselves from other Americans.
The enemy whom ever it maybe won't use foot soldiers with guns so who will you all be shooting at besides each other.
Besides guns if you rip apart your bill of rights you will find any important law was already eroded by statute laws.

The poll should have been worded to actually mean something.

Yes they are. They are willing to put up with mass shootings as the price paid for the 2nd amendment not being fucked with

They think that some how their arsenal is going to stop the government from treading on them....all it takes is a well place drone fired missle to wipe that idea out or a bunker busting bomb

*until it's ther loved one killed in a mass shooting, then they want changes made!

From the European perspective about 95% of Americans appear dumb, probably due to a combination of fluoride, vaccines, propaganda and their education system, but there are still 5% who are very smart indeed, both types are visible on this forum.

  • A person who is dishonorably discharged from the US Military should not be allowed to own or possess firearms.
  • Persons with Class A misdemeanor of felony convictions should not be allowed to own or possess firearms.

Considering there are 80 million or more firearms in the USA and maybe a few thousand are used unlawfully -- that is a very small percentage used by a very small criminal element and a deranged few.

3,000+ people died by airplane attack on 9/11. We didn't ban airplanes even though they could be used as a deadly weapon.

Too bad one of those Texans in that church was not armed --but that is another argument. The shooter was a coward -- he chose to kill people that would most likely be unarmed. End of story.

Apparently, this type of thing isn't a problem, but a brown dude with a Home Depot truck is going to kill us all. Nothing will change until this happens to a family member of someone in congress.

Actually he wasnt able to buy a gun "legally". He was dishorably discharged from the military with a court marshall.

It was illegal for him to own or buy a gun because its the same as being a felon. He illegally bought the gun.

The reason he was able to do that, is there is no background checks or waiting period on rifles or assualt guns.. just pistols. He simply checked the box that he wasnt a felon and could legally buy a gun. Then they sold him the gun...

[sarcasm]Yes! While were at it...FUCK THE ENTIRE CONSTITUTION.....You know, the very docoment that defines the United States for what it is. Great idea![/sarcasm]

MY rights don't end because of YOUR feelings. The "retards" are the people, American or not, who don't understand that our Constitution is everything that defines America.

On a similar note, I find it pretty damn funny that the many people throughout the world hate America because we "stick our noses in the business of other countries." Yet these same people love to chime in on American politics, bash our President, bash our Constitution and make uneducated comments about how WE THE PEOPLE OF THE UNITED STATES should do things.

I agree that we do need to be strict. We should start with kicking out everybody who doesn't respect our Constitution and hanging those who intentionally violate it.

US people need to keep guns, one only had to watch the Hunger Games to see the benefit of guns against a corrupt regime. The false flag shootings are put there to create a pretext to ban guns

It's nice and rather trendy to virtue signal about banning guns in a country where there's already 300 + million guns on the street

However, it does not reflect the reality. It may be quite useful to take into account that the majority of homicides and shootings are committed by those with a prior arrest record (80 + pct.) and the origin of these guns is therefore almost exclusively illegal.

Moreover, if the minority (black and hispanic) crime rates, much of those are gang related, would be removed from the crime stats, the homicide and shooting incident rates in US (among the rest of the US population) even with its huge gun culture, would be very close to those of Europe.

This can be witnessed in states with homogenous population and very little gang activity, such as for example New Hampshire.

Therefore "banning" guns from legal owners would, unfortunately, likely have very little effect on the current (major) levels of crime. You can't fight wolves by catching dogs.

yes but your country actually has a dedicated terrorist force to use violence in the name of politics and it uses said violence day in and day out...it also has a dedicated violence budget that it has no intention of lowering or even trying to hide its invasion plans for the future...

so it is very amusing when I hear an american complain how others should mind their own business...comedy 10/10

In other words, because you and many others that have served have taken the oath, the constitution can never ever be updated, changed or optimized? Regardless of time, advances in civilization, society, etc.? Honest question and genuinely curious.

Incorrect, there are already laws in place to where he couldn't legally buy a gun. He had to obtained it illegally. I'm sure he wasn't running around telling everyone he was dishonorably discharged and did a year in military prison for beating up his wife and kid.

I support the 2nd amendment

Every adult American should be able to purchase a front loading musket and a sword, just like the founding fathers intended !

He walked into a store and bought it.. Its 100% proof that the laws in place to not work to keep guns out of the hands of people who shouldn't own them..

But hey lets talk about Mexicans voting or Hillary's emails..

Funny your oath didnt stop you from trying to swindle money out of old ladies savings accounts by claiming you were working to help get Hillary elected..

Amazing how it works how you are only ok with some freedoms but not the most imporant, which is a free from fraud election process.

Only a scumbag would attempt to fuck up our election process fr personal gain and then try to hold up his military service as proof he is better than thou..

Hang the traitors.
settle down... it's an amendment. It is by definition a change to the original due to circumstances rethought after. The discussion can be had about further change without yelling: traitor! In fact, any attempts at denial of such a discussion would in itself be unconstitutional.

I don't have a solution myself, and wouldn't pretend to being an outsider. But the discussion should always be there.

That's not what we are saying, we are saying that the constitution is there for a reason and our country has risen to be the defender of the free world and has influenced other countries to make the world a better place.

The people that wrote the constitution saw what was going on in the rest of the world and wanted something different. The people that are attacking the constitution are doing so for political gain. If stricter gun laws worked, we would get more, but they don't. That's been proven over and over with cities like Chicago. The left will say that gun deaths have gone down because of their gun laws, when the truth is that the medical profession has got better at treating gun shot wounds.

Then there is the left attacking the 1st amendment by not allowing the right to speak, I would be the first to punch the antifa bag of dicks that protests with a base ball bat and yells at the top of their lungs to keep others from their protected free speech.

In truth, America?s Constitution has given more freedom to more people than any other government charter in history. It was the system this document built that brought so many immigrants to America?s shores and inspired so many to attain great accomplishments?accomplishments that any other system anywhere else in the world would have denied them. So, my question is why would anyone attack it? What do they have against freedom?

I own 2 69 cal flint lock horse pistols, trust me, they are the last thing you would want to be shot with! Also you may want to read it again, nothing was said about swords, here in LA you can't even carry a folding knife....Fucking liberals at work

Did you serve? I did.

And I've also forgotten more about firing all types of guns than most so-called conservatives will ever know. I even reloaded my own shotgun shells, 223 and 9mm...thousands of rounds.

I'm for common sense.

Let me ask you a question. Did you serve in the military?

Rochard is one of the very few people left on this board that I actually respect. Rochard actually responds with intelligence, while most others revert to name-calling and just plain acting like cry babies. Even when the guy disagrees with you, he is still showing some level of respect by not just throwing his hands up in the air and simply saying you are just a dumb idiot.

I just don't remember him acting like that on this board ever. The fact that you would come on this board and say a military veteran is "retarded" just shows you have no respect for military veterans period. Just like Trump. You may think you do, but only in your fucked up little bubble world.

The only respect you have for is the "right" for crazy gun nuts to shoot up innocent people. Because, lets face it.... the anwser to all your problems doesn't come from the end of a gun (a belief you share with every mass murderer.)

Guns will not protect you from the government if they decide to come after you bro. If you honestly believe that, then you sir are fucking "retarded"
