College soccer team suspended after athlete dons blackface while dressed as Terry Crews in 'White Chicks'
  A college soccer team in Massachusetts is facing suspension following a student-athlete's offensive costume. A member of the Wheaton College women's soccer team posed for a photo with her skin darkened with makeup, a drawn-on goatee and a bald cap. The student was dressed as Latrell Spencer, a character in the 2004 movie "White Chicks" played by Terry Crews, who is black. The photo was shared on Snapchat along with other photos of members of the soccer team during a party last Friday. After students saw the photo and spoke out, Wheaton president Dennis Hanno sent a letter to the campus community stating that the team has been suspended from participating in a tournament game on Saturday. He said "racist and offensive behavior will not be tolerated" on the Wheaton College campus. Additionally, the student faces a student conduct hearing about her costume choice.
