Not everyone, but a few people always bitch about the contests. Why ? Some of the prizes are generous (not all, but most have been) and you get paid more than your usual prices for a gallery. It seems like a great way to get your skills out for everyone to see, and pickup a little extra work. I think the buyers/sponsors like to see the work before they buy it. It's apparent that there's a big need for gallery template designs. Someone could probably cleanup nicely with a template store, where buyers could browse numerous designs already made and choose the ones they wanted.

I think that we could take the average person off the street, put him on gfy and if he won a few contests he could run his own site..

Hell atleast once a week, we are giving away content, money, hosting, design, traffic...... Its pretty crazy when you think about it.

how many tgps are going to allow active-x objects lol.. unfortunately at the moment flash only works if the owner really fucking trusts you or you pay them enough.

they aren't necessarily for galleries...they are just flash templates ;)

these guys have some new stuff that isn't just strictly gallery related coming out soon...
