Trials & deals Offered To Expired Members?

Hey guys & girls. I have been collecting join page emails from my first paysite, collected 6800 emails last month from my site and have 300+ members joining a month.

My sites members area just got a MASSIVE update and I was wondering what sort of offer is best to entire members & those 6800 people to join or rejoin my site?

    Should I offer them?

    1 day trail memberships $1 ?
    3 day trial memberships $4.95 ?
30 minute trials -> 3 day trial -> full month

I was thinking of offering them
$1 30 days access to get them back to enjoy the new members area and massive daily updates. But I don't want to keep mailing them these sort of deals each month so they think they can just rejoin under them each month.

What about $4.95 30 day memberships or
$9.95 Full month memberships recurring at $9.95.

I offer members a half price $14.95 through epoch when they go to cancel but have only had a few people buying the cheaper membership and staying.

Paysite webmasters what do you guys find works good for you?

Btw my site is $29.95 straight up membership with no trial options.

    Cheers

Don't know how many will actually sign up again. When Ibill didn't pay me and I cancelled all my rebills with them I sent all the current Ibill members a special offer where the membership was only 9.95 instead of the normal 24.95 and not very many took the offer. Plus I found a huge number of the old email addresses were kicked back.

You can always email them an offer to my site and save yourself the headache.

But for real, I usually email my ex-members a nice deal like 6.95 for 30 days that rolls over to the regular membership price. This works pretty well. I know some people email their ex-members every week. But I do it a little less often than that, probably once a month. Since they're good paying customers I don't like to bug them too often, call me silly. Also when I mail them I give them an update about what's new on my site and sometimes send a couple pics.

And I do offer them other sites as well, sites that I think they'd be interested in.

I think if its the first time you have mailed them you could do 50% off your current monthly price. That works well for me but I do have a very specific niche site. Epoch lets you limit the number of times a person can signup for a trial so you can set those limits if you are worried about people signing up at the trial prices and never recurring.
