A question about stolen credit cards

I know that there are forums where people just buy and sell lists of stolen CC numbers, but what I was wondering is where do these people keep getting these fresh card numbers from?

Do most of these numbers come from hacked CC databases of big online retailers?

I post on GFY so that when people ask me what I do,
I can tell them that I work with the mentally retarded.

they hack smaller online merchants.

take the logs. use them
