I made several million from ARS back in those days and I was absolutely NOTHING compared to the guys that pushed hard. Toolz was a riot to talk to and I always thought it was funny the biggest program ever was located in a small little michigan town. Yes they dwarfed playboy plus or hustler and penthouse. Maybe Cybererotica was the only bigger one ever. Marc was invested in insurance, restaurants, and owns a big gaming company now. He still makes millions and made I know several HUNDRED million from that 6 year ARS span when they did 3000+ CC sales a day.

That was my biggest life mistake ever.. I looked at adult online and AVS sites in 98 or 99ish and couldn't believe it was legit. I thought it was a scam.

I was new to computers and the Internet was learning how to hack websites, so adult AS sites were the obvious easy choice to practice on.. lol

I read all about AS sites back then but couldn't believe people were paying for porn so I thought it was a scam..

This was back when Persian Kitty was kinda new.

I guess my 2nd life mistake was not buying bitcoins when they were sub $50 lol

Even back then as someone who was new to the internet, heck it might of been before 1998 I was on AOL 3.0, back when I got my first PC online. I was trying to learn hacking, so AVS sites were easy practice and they were so easy to get into I couldn't imagine anyone actually paying for them..

When I looked at the webmaster links it all looked like a scam. I mean they were saying we give you content and then pay you for sign ups. I was like why would they give me free content, give me hosting and then pay me to send sign ups. It was one of those situations that sounded too good to be true.

Marc De was cool, but his sister Becky was a sweetheart.

ARS knew how to take care of their big earners that's for sure. I miss them dearly.
