Another Republican throws in the towel blames right wing nutters

Yep, another Republican from the House wont be running in the next election. He was a shoe in for re-election but says his party is completely out of whack due to nutters..

The 'governing wing' of the GOP is running for the hills - CNNPolitics

Perhaps he should just blame himself as it was the GOP themselves who pushed the far right to go further right until they became out of control nut jobs.
In November, you can vote for America's next president or its first dictator.

There have to be some who can't even look at themselves in the mirror anymore. It probably wears your soul down to a nub after a while and this guy was smart to get out before Republicans find the absolute bottom. For many of them, the last things on their minds when they shit and die will be "I was a participant in trying to make the world go backwards".

Legendary evil republicans vs saint democrats narrative
      Delusion train!

Ps: I wonder what your narrative was when some democrat governor (or something like that) turned republican some weeks or months ago. I bet it was not "he finally saw the light" style argument from you, double standard monger with no objectivity.

      Pathetic little man.

At a certain point in time people wake up and say "This is not what I want to represent". And they move on.

But they're not really helping the problem. When someone with enough integrity to realize what is going on leaves the sideshow, another nutter steps in to take his place. Then their numbers grow and they become like a bunch of ticks in our government. Not that the establishment was much better, but a government full of nutty, racist idiots won't do much good for anyone.

I somewhat agree but it does depend on what kind of choices we do have in primary's and final elections.
As long as there is a least 1 good choice, don't underestimate the public's disgust.
Most are silent and most will not stay at home this go-around.

But I am kinda hoping we will catch many with their hand in the till before elections.

Democrats don't really have all that much to do with Republican self-destruction. That does seem to be the one thing Republicans are able to do and that would be fuck themselves over. So how do you like winning all the time with tRump?
