    Do you still bother to SEO your Images?

    I still get some traffic from bing and DDgo through my images, but not so much from G or Yahoo.

    I was just wondering what everyone else's experiences were and if getting traffic via images is still a thing in this SEO era.

      Only on my main site now.

      I get very little Google Images traffic, but I'm guessing that bothering to do the alt tags might still benefit the SEO of the page.

          That's because Bing and other platforms do read keywords and image text whereas others don't. Sure they maybe smaller - but in this day and age - any and all traffic is good because search engines' algorithms "read" the names of your images, just like they "read" the text on your site.

          As a side note, choosing the right images for your website is important. I always recommend not to name your images like 2345349a_34.jpg since google can't read numbers
