Makes sense, and as a 'serious' affiliate of BBO and related programs I actually welcome this . I am sure that if they would have kept it it would slowly die under the hands of the original owners.

Agreed, but if the rumors are true, how are you so sure they keep the affiliate program alive?

They kept DDF alive too.. They have no reason to close the affiliate program. They do restrict what affiliates can do though (serious limitations on promo clips since 2017)
