seemingly still having problems with Paxum :(

I would suggest doing what Naughty America started doing: sending wires through Western Union, which seems to be super cheap and fast, even for international wires

Good news:

Penthouse just sent you money with paxum.com

Did you file with the court for payment? If not, you're not being considered for payment.

June 4th is the auction of Penthouse's assets. Objections must be filed by Monday, May 21st. Relief will be granted to Penthouse and you are not getting paid, not even for rebills. If you previously filed as a creditor with the trustee, you may get your share of the pennies from the auction.

NemesisEnforcer 05-18-2018 10:19 AM

To avoid confusion, this is from Penthouse:

Quote:

Indeed, you have recently received a Court notification stating that PENTHOUSE (which filed for relief under Chapter 11 on January 11, 2018) will be entering into a sale process.

There are many types of bankruptcies in the United States legal system. Chapter 11 is utilized for the restructuring of a company’s balance sheet (e.g. debt). American Airlines, MGM, and General Motors are examples of Chapter 11 bankruptcies. Unlike American Airlines and GM, our plan has been pre-negotiated and agreed to by an overwhelming majority of the different constituents.

No one should confuse what we are doing with a Chapter 7. A Chapter 7 is liquidation. Companies that don’t generate cash or have no future end up in Chapter 7. This is *NOT* a Chapter 7. We all believe that this company has a bright future, and we remain confident that Ms. Kelly Holland, the current PENTHOUSE’s CEO, will be able to redeem the company with the help of known and well established investors.

I’d like to underline that the company has ran its business as usual while in Chapter 11, and we intend to CONTINUE with the same course until the sale and after WITHOUT impacting our contractual services delivery/our broadcasting operations.

It’s business as usual is the short answer !

We are anticipating honoring all of our existing agreements and providing the same great customer/viewer/user experience as always. The broadcasting operations WILL NOT be affected by the sale process.

I’ll notify you of the outcome next month as soon as the sale process is officially completed.

Should you have any concerns, I am more than happy to set up a call with you in order to waive any possible misunderstanding or misleading interpretation.

Warm regards,

Fat Panda 05-18-2018 10:24 AM

damn. very concerning news.

Looks like the sale is done. Letter from the court says sold to Kirkendoll Management for $1.075 million.

No more licensing fees for them since they own it now. Strategic move for not a lot of money.

The Penthouse auction happened today. You will be pleasantly surprised as to who purchased it and for how much. Here is a hint; tubes, porn, & big money (millions). I will wait for the letter from the court to confirm. I've seen auctions happen and the winner backed out.

It's my understanding that it went back-and-forth between MindGeek and XVideos. In the end, XVideos won at $11.2 million USD. I believe $3 million of that was contributed by Kirkendoll.

Now they can put the full length version of Caligula on xvideos.com

sigh....

xvideos 06-05-2018 10:45 AM

MINDGEEK's dirty business as usual : they are making screenshots of XVIDEOS and sending them to Penthouse's broadcasting partners. I guess they are picking a couple videos that should be deleted in the sea of 8 million clips.

How pathetic is that? Sore losers scumbags.

NemesisEnforcer 06-05-2018 12:29 PM

Hell of a bureaucracy to collect money. Another letter from bankruptcy court saying settlement has been decided and we have until July 2, 2018 to file proof of claim.

This is your last chance to get your piece of the $11.2 Million.

It's possible but they will need true leadership at Penthouse.

Any idea which case number should be checked at top of claim form for past due affiliate earnings?

Here you go, it's public record:

Bankruptcy Petition # / Case #: 1:18-bk-10098-MB
U.S. Bankruptcy Court
Central District of California (San Fernando Valley)

Debtor
Penthouse Global Media, Inc.
8944 Mason Ave.
Chatsworth, CA 91311
Tax ID / EIN: 47-2601335

Pseudonymous 06-05-2018 10:13 PM

Why weren't they in on this sale when it was originally up for sale? It went for 6 million, a few years ago.

Quite the profit in a few years, good one Kelly.

Companies that large should always have their ear on the ground. Or somebody sold it without contacting the right people, if that's the case. Unbelievable.

Not $6 million, but over $10 Million. Overall, as a debtor, the sale is a loss for the note holder.

Thanks, I am looking at the claim form the law firm sent out to creditors, which lists all the related case numbers at top. What I was trying to get at is affiliate earnings may not have been paid by parent company, Penthouse Global Media, which that case number is for but a related company involved like Penthouse Global Digital perhaps which is listed as a separate case number (1:18-bk-10102) at top of form. Forgot who the payor was on last check.

Edit: Never mind, found a check stub from last payment and it is from Penthouse Global Digital, Inc so gonna use case number 1:18-bk-10102

I have both media and digital but I use just one number. Their website says "Penthouse Global Media, Inc." but I guess they pay from whatever account has money that week.

What did you guys use as proof of claim? You think a screenshot of the outstanding payments inside NATS is enough?

PSD 06-12-2018 10:01 AM

That is what I was planning to use.
