NK already has the biggest stock pile of Chemical and Biological weapons, many of those can be made in any lab fairly easy. Rocket/ aircraft technology from the 1940's is quiet sufficient to deploy them, fuck a spray can works just fine...

the bombs were dropped in tests on the South Korean side of the border, but in show of the force they can display to North Korea is they decide to attack.
All the bombs landed in perfect positions & can wipe out 11mtrs of concrete, wiping out NK cities would be possible & simple to do for South Korea

If a war broke out with NK, even if it wasn't nuclear, it would still be devastating. It would involve South Korea and Japan too, and mostly likely destroy the Korea peninsula. Fighting would also consume the Japanese home islands and US bases in the region too such as Guam and Hawaii.
If Kim Jung Un decided to attack Seoul in retaliation, It would cause hundreds of thousands of people, maybe millions, to become instant refugees. (Will you welcome them? Something tells me you would not...)
But fuck all that you might say. If the US attacks first and defeats NK with the least amount of damage possible, you win, right?
Not so fast. After the knock-down of North Korea, it and South Korea would need to be reunited. You think that's simple? Just ask Syria, Iraq, Afghanistan. And who would do this? Probably the US, right? And how much would that cost? And will you be stomping your feet because your tax-dollars are going over there to help? What about all the people left over who are already starving in NK?
Any war with NK would be an incredible disaster, and cost the US and other countries Trillions of dollars. Donald Idiot Trump definitely does not understand this but hopefully he has advisors to smack his knuckles any time he even considers the idea.

The reason we have handled North Korea the way the we have for the past fifty years is because it is by far the best option. We have two options here - continue the status quo or go to war. Going to war is just not an option; Tens of thousands or hundreds of thousands of Americans would die within weeks. This doesn't take into account what would happen to South Koreans - There are millions of people living near the border that would be directly in the line of fire.
