Baddog above asked "how do you evacuate two million people". Well, you at least have to try. Of course there is a concern of people getting stuck in the floods while in their cars, but.... They all could have left before the first drop of rain.

I should also add a few years ago we had a propane train fire, and most of the town was evacuated. The neighborhood across the street had to leave. We also had the evacuation because of the damn above us.... These have opened up our eyes to be prepared at all times. You never know when this will happen to you.Herschel Savage

Propane train fire. They transport propane by train, and we have a small "propane farm". This is where the propane train backs up to a network of large propane tanks and transfers propane from the train to the tanks. (Oddly enough, it's located right next to the high school). The actually drop off the "railroad car" with the propane in it and they off load it later on.
Somehow this tanker railway car caught fire. In the event these things explode, they will take out most of the town. They are huge.

First and foremost, most of the roads, highways, on-ramps, and exits were flooded overnight in Houston even though the hurricane hit land near Corpus Cristi which is several hours away. Most neighbordhood streets were flooded overnight.
Furthermore, when world record setting rains crash down on the nations 4th largest city, you can't simultaneously rescue every single person at once. Are you seriously this fucking stupid that it needs to be explained to you? 1000s of people have been rescued. You're going offf the rails emotionally because 10 weren't rescued in what you believe to be a timely manner and because you think Trump should send in the Army? On a board full of fucking retards, you've certainly managed to stand out.
Look at how totally fucking idiotic you act in what is nothing more than an emotional response to a picture. Again, 5000+ FEMA volunteers, 1000s of National Guard troops and all the emergency personnel in existence within distance to help are in the area.
