It might have been. I paused adblocker to look at the site so I could see what was actually there.

Doesn't matter to me what was doing it, it is the OP's site so he is responsible for what it fucking does\ whether he put it there himself or allowed a third party to, knowingly or unknowingly.

You could have said "Thank you for letting me know about that, I will get it addressed."

You could have said lots of different things that would show that you appreciate someone letting you know that your site had tried to load out ransomware, which if you are a legit webmaster you would not want to have happening.

Instead you insult the person who told you about it and apparently make no effort to research and find out what is happening with your site.
