Trump is the reason the Confederate statues are coming down

The statues stood for a long time in most places as symbols of our history. However with Trump they became symbols of hate. Normal people are pushing back against Trump and his supporters hate mongering and the statues became the focal point.

It's just reactionary politics. It's a quick way to pander and have little blowback.
