    Franklin has strengthened into the Atlantic's first hurricane of 2017 in the Bay of Campeche.

    Franklin is coming ashore in eastern Mexico's state of Veracruz.

    Hurricane and tropical storm warnings are in effect.

    Damaging winds, storm surge, flooding rainfall and landslides are all likely impacts.

    Flooding rain swamped parts of the Yucatan Peninsula Tuesday.

      Be interesting to see if Trump offers any help to the Mexican government in mitigating the damage and helping any displaced persons -- that is what a neighbor is supposed to do --especially a wealthy one like the USA is.

      But you probably have it right ... Just like a selfish child in a sandbox Trump will not share his toys.
