I don't remember him from anywhere except GOT so it was a super pleasant surprise to see him in Shot Caller (good movie by the way).

I just watched this movie "Shot Caller" with him and a few good actors in it. He did a pretty good job in it, but the movie sorta lacked substance. I think they had a good idea and rushed it into a normal 2 hour movie when it could have been broken into maybe a second movie. It also was so depressing too... I don't want to spoil it for anyone, but take some anti depressants or get drunk and watch it.Comment

I agree, movie could be better, but if it had more substance it would be a great movie and now it is just a good movie.
What I consider good movie? Must be better than at least 25 out of 30 in this "top 2017" movie list:
Actually even an average movie is better than 25 out of 30
Basically 9 times out of 10 Shot caller is better than whatever movie you are going to watch in theaters this week, next week, next next week and so on.
And I agree - it does not take much to be better than that knowing what kind of crap is being released as blockbusters

I know this isn't regarding said actor. But, if you get a chance to see the movie "Life" -- do it.
