The reason I started this thread was because I wanted to get a feel for how much "discrimination" (is that an antique term?) everyone feels in this biz... not in terms of content (that too maybe is an issue that we really have not much control over... yet) but instead in terms of 1 on 1 type of interactions... because obviously on GFY we are colorblind... I guess people hang out with who they want to in the end -- inevitably... maybe it's not even an issue -- but I think this is a good place to resolve some shit that needs to be resolved... Do you?
Personally I grew up thinking "blackness" was just a factor that I should ignore... consider everyone the same. That has served me well living in Florida... but if I dare to push further than my parental guides... it seems that where I live I more respect the local residents a little more on the whole... I live in a transient area -- lots of college students "blessed" by the fortunes of their parents... So you get a lot of materialism, cheap tricks and petty games... U know Tom Petty got started here... that song "She was an American Girl" I found out was about a local girl here that jumped out the forth story window of the Holiday Inn that I pass every day... He was a timid bassist -- with an aptitude for lyricis... anyway I'm saying there are always good people around, but it seems the majority of the intelligence around where I live belongs to the "hood" if I dare call it that...
Or maybe not... if you guage success by the size of your rims, I have a click program for you to try... :Graucho
Seriously tho it's a good program... You got to figure the Playboy exits make money. I use it and it pays my bills.
