THe thing that doesnt make sense about "The Swoit Model" is affiliates send traffic, and partners 'supply sites'...

But how is the money REALLY split up?

Is it % by # of sites the paysite operators submitted?

-- because that opens doors for lots of problems...like people mass/trash submitting. People submitting template splash page sites with lower quality carbon-copy members areas VS. someone with 1 kickass site thats worth 100 of those cloned sites. So the webmaster with 1 good site gets stiffed with a much smaller share than the guy that submitted the 100 far lower quality sites??

Is it a flat % or payout when someone joins a participating paysite? Whats to stop Swoit from saying an unusally large % of the surfers signed up for sites that are owned/operated by Swoit (directly or indirectly)


Or like someone said... Someone might have a really good, jam packed members area, but a weaker front end that doesnt pull initial sales. But once swoit surfers find this guy and his jam packed members area they suck him dry -- and he gets paid nothing??

It's sounds like a great idea... but I see problems.

Maybe "Swoit" can come along and publicly explain (since the site doesn't seem to)

I'm just curious about the 10% maintenence. What is CCBills fee 13%? I assume the 40% split comes after fees but damn what will that leave if 1000 sites are involved. Blah.

I've gotten 3 emails all to the same addy... my new addy that's only been inexistance for 3 months.

This makes me curious.... are they sending to more than one list and not checking for dupes?

Since not everyone has received 3 copies to each email, I assume that it's not a sending error.

Makes me wonder how I could get 3 copies all to the same address many hours apart though.

Personally, Swoit lookes absolutely fucking amazing. Obviously they have some problems to overcome, but that's like any new model introduced.

i'll break it down really slowly ....

* the company behind Swoit is the company responsible for the technical development of Intergal and SexHit Programs. as a contracted company, they wrote the affiliate system and handled all technical development until sometime late last year.

* i was contracted as the marketing director for SexHit from the launch in October/November 2000 until October 2002 when I resigned my position. Mandy was hired and took over the marketing of the program sometime in the following month.

* Zarvon & I have worked together, on and off, since 1998 as independent contractors to adult industry products. When you get a good tech and marketing team together you try to work together as often as possible whenever the opportunity arises. If any of you would like to hire either of our companies, we'd be happy to consider your monetary offer and we are confident that we can achieve the numbers we claim.

* I am not officially working for Swoit, nor do I have any ownership or partnership in the product, but I am assisting in the launch process and my paysites were the first to be added to the system as a beta test.

* There are no sexhit or intergal sites listed ANYWHERE on the participating sites page - way to research facts people! There are however several of my sites, several shared earnings sites (i agree, BARF!), and sites belonging to many of the webmasters who use the Zban tracking system written by zarvon - the affiliate program software which I also use to operate my sites. This is called 'NETWORKING' - its very good for business.

As for the bulk email, I agree with ya'all there ... I just found out where they bought the list from and I can see why so many of you got multiple copies. But, I only got 3, that I had to search for amongst the weight loss and penis enlargement spams.

Considering everyone in this thread has said nothing but negative comments about the bulk email, there have been a lot of signups in the last few hours and i see many names from this thread in the new account list ...

I'm not going to argue the spam issue, I hate spam of every kind and its a result of many arguments with my Aussie associates. I can't wait for another Paul Vixie to come back and fuck the spammers again. But that's a personal thing, not a business thing ;-)

Mutt, how could I guess that you would have a problem with this? You are one of the regular names that comes up in threads where the australians are being grouped together and trashed. I've got a few questions for you ...

1) Didn't you get in trouble for stealing someone else's photos and posting them in a fashion that led people to believe they were yours?

2) When you sell photo content, do you really ask them how many members they have? i've never heard of anyone else doing that ... as for feeds, if you use more bandwidth than the allocated amount for your member count, you pay more money. DUH. If you have 500 members and an extra 500 swoit members surfing your site, the feeds companies will probably charge you extra for the extra bandwidth. All of my deals with feeds companies are set up this way, they let me know when I have gone up a notch and invoice me accordingly. Its not rocket science.

3) Why is it that you think Swoit is bad for content companies and yet you are a regular at the biggest TGP webmaster board in the industry?

The name "Swoit" is best described vocally, so we'll see if we can't arrange a radio show sometime soon for all of your questions.

Its a shame that so many good questions got lost amongst the bullshit in this thread, especially considering I KNOW that many of you will try the program. But, that's the way GFY has always worked, lots of big dick games and showing off and real business only happens on icq/email.

I haven't received any SWOIT (how do pronounce that ?) spams, so maybe I didn't signup with the right sponsor. Maybe they have the Intergal/Sexhit list ?

I don't give a shit about all the explaining. Fact is I and MANY other people got spam again again again but this time to an address not public on any site (for some of us). And I really hate spam. Whenever I can do something about it I do it. This time I let spam cop decide where to go from here.

If they take Swoit down you probaly know why.
