    When was the last time you actually bought a newspaper ??

    Hadn't bought one for about a year but picked up one today since I was passing time at the hospital. It's amazing how much you realise right away "why am I reading yesterday's news?"

    So 3mins later I was done. Probably the last newspaper i will ever buy...




    Who else here still bothers to get one ? Can't be many I'd imagine being online most the day. I want today's news today, not read about it tomorrow...

      not very often unless there is something local going on or something special in the world that i'd like to save it for.

      most of the news i read is online even locally

          I only buy one if I'm going to be without Internet and will have some time sitting around somewhere. Though it's getting harder to pick which newspaper to read, I normally just look around for an interesting headline, but most of the papers annoy me one way or another with their obvious narratives, propaganda and bias

                              last time i actually read a newspaper was several months ago, before that i havent read one in years.

                              What i noticed? The extreme level of propaganda and blatant bullshit. I instantly thought "holy shit". That some people read this every day... and actually believe it or at least base their way of thinking on it. On 100% biased fairy tale "news".

                              Once you're awake it's impossible to read a newspaper.

                                      It has been a long time. I honestly can't remember the last time I bought a paper. It was likely several years ago when my niece was in the local paper for a rodeo thing she was involved in.
