Not really anything controversial in it to me, but then again I have read some really controversial books. I would say it was a good book. With a free speech message. Encouraging people to do things that challenge the system. I do believe Milo is anti-establishment and likes to piss people off.
He doesn't mention money and building a brand behind his name. But I don't think anybody would mention that. You would need an unauthorized biography to delve into the self promotion aspects.

The chapter on Gamergate controversy was good too. I knew nothing about all that.
