Venezuelan's are poor except for the elite that took the profits out of the country's oil reserves, for many years, and did the least they could for the common people out of the ruling classes' greed.

I blame the people of Venezuela for their own demise -- the stood by and let the elite and successive Venezuelan governments fuck them over.
