    EU army is rising, the planned next step in losing sovereignty.

    Here in NL the army barely gets any funding of the government. Commandos are walking around with holes in their clothes and defective communication sets, at several trainings the army has to shout 'bang bang' (literally - this is actually happening) because there is no money for ammo anymore.

    Now it just came out that EU puppet and Merkel cuck Macron (you know that guy the self destructive moronic French voters voted for - not enough terror attacks i guess) wants to cut $1 billion from their national defense budget, causing a clash between Macron and the chief of the armed forces, causing the latter to QUIT on the spot.

    And guess what... the $1 billion goes to.... the EU!

    We see it in a lot of countries in Europe who are members of the cancerous EU: Little by little every national entity is getting stripped down and sucked dry to let it eventually dissappear, to be replaced by an EU superstate entity for which the people in these countries have never, ever asked for - yet all of our tax money is being used for it. We do not want to be part of a dictatorial superstate.

        i think they cut the budgets on the military on purpose. Than they can say that we need an European army, cause that is cheaper. Now the Dutch minister president says he don't want a European army, but we know that guy is only lying to get a job in the EU.

        Holland must stop sending the small army everywhere to support other countries, while they don't even have bullets to practice..

              the point is you can not give a reasonable argument against an EU army and cutting costs...EU does not even really need an army...it needs a few nukes and nobody will invade ever...

                i have more respect for the France armed forces chief than the Dutch minister. The Dutch minister should fight for the safety of the troops. She can't, she cut the whole budget. It is just a matter of time till their will be another disaster like Srebrenica.

                "France's armed forces chief resigns after clash with Macron over budget cuts;

                In a statement, 60 year-old Pierre de Villiers said he had tried to keep the armed forces fit for an ever more difficult task within the financial constraints imposed on it, but was no longer able to sustain that."

                A European army could do something good. But i think only bad will come out of it. The army's of the different countries already can work close together. My problem with an European army; the people like Timmermans, Juncker will use that power to go fight in Ukrain or wherever goes they get a hardon for power. Irt will make the world less safe.

                  After the revolution of 1776 is newly independent US states were much like the nation-states of the EU.

                  Welcome to our Federalist Papers e-text. The Federalist Papers were written and published during the years 1787 and 1788 in several New York State newspapers to persuade New York voters to ratify the proposed constitution.

                  [O]f all the cares or concerns of government, the direction of war most peculiarly demands those qualities which distinguish the exercise of power by a single hand. The direction of war implies the direction of the common strength; and the power of directing and employing the common strength, forms a usual and essential part in the definition of the executive authority. ... If the nation-states of the European Union have one army they will never fight against each other again, barring a civil war like the US had that was based in "states rights."

                        Every single thing we pay the EU for is in fact MORE expensive than if we just did it nationally. That's a fact. I am glad you brought it up because that is yet another disadvantage of the EU dictatorship.

                          an EU army is a good idea, it will certainly cut costs because you will not need 28 armies but one...if officials are corrupt you should focus on eliminating them and not the idea of one big army...

                              You can see by these players why Europe has been at war with itself since antiquity.
