I just wear a Fossil.

Nothing else. Anything else that resembles bling makes me look stupid. :1orglaugh

That has to be the most ludicrous, pretentious article of glitter I've ever seen. You'd look less ridiculous if you just branded a $ sign onto your forehead.

Hey denis, are you aware that your Rolex has a battery ??
Its not the same battery as in Movado, but its still a battery thats good for about 20 years. Ask you Rolex dealer he'll tell you more about it.

The most expensive watch I've bought is the Piaget Dancer. Crazy wasted money and my less expensive swiss watches are just as accurate and I don't have to worry as much walking around with them and looking like a rich pimp target waiting to be robbed.

One of my favorites of all time that I've owned was the first digital LED watch that was introduced by Pulsar. That was so cool way back then. I got more people wanting to check that out than anything else.

I never knew that... I always though automatic watches wind from hand movement. The only problem I have with my omega is it looses time. I think I need to get it serviced. So are you saying Movado is a good watch?

Kimmykim 04-22-2003 03:02 PM

I have a nice little Raymond Weil I got in Aruba last fall, it tells the time goes with most anything since it's stainless with a black face and not too many sparklies on it...

Audemars Piguet - http://audemarspiguet.com/ - makes a really nice watch, and if I were getting something I'd plan to keep for a long time, Jaeger Le Coultre - http://www.jaeger-lecoultre.com/JLC/index.htm -- would be the way I'd go, with the Reverso Four Seasons... of course I also love the Chopard Happy Sport -- http://chopard.com/worldwide/fl/1w_h...8895-23_11.htm --

Easton 04-22-2003 03:11 PM

i got 3 watches:

Guess? for every day bullshit

Raymond Weil for wearing with a suit or to dress up

Breitling for sports and casual stuff

funny thing is the Breitling is more than the other 2 together... :1orglaugh

Easton 04-22-2003 03:14 PM

here's my Breitling in action

People here aren't impressed with what you show off. People are more impressed by what you have that you don't show off. It took me a few years to learn that.

You're so right. My favorite right now is a cool looking swiss watch I got for a steal at under $200.

Movado SE.... Absolutely pimp for nice occasions. My wife has the female matching one.

Normally, its a $65 blue face fossil for every day.

Digipimp 04-22-2003 05:13 PM

It's not about the price of the watch, I just like nice looking or original designs. I try to stay away from the cloned watch designs that others do just to have the watch look like a Rolex or whatever, it's about personal taste and it's like wearing a mini piece of art on your wrist. So whether it's $20 or $20,000 it's all about whether I like the look or not.
