So I see Nastydollars is now moving over to Adultforce...anyone know what's going to happen to all the Nastydollars promo material (FHGs, content, banners, etc)?

Based on the other sites they've migrated, I would not count on the current promo tool assortment to be migrated over.

I seriously doubt their old system will continue to work. Having been frustrated with every program they have migrated to AdultForce so far, I had tried to login to twistyscash, babesmoney, etc and ultimately get redirected to adultforce. My guess is they'll do the same with ND.

And it uses NATS which, in my opinion, is infinitely more affiliate friendly than AF. More importantly, they're very receptive to suggestions and custom tools. Give CherryPimps a try. Seriously.

The only reason we remain with sponsors is cause we still have some sort of hope, seen the name CherryPimp, classic good program, we will move most to them also and to other names that have proven to remain stable.

Some people have Fuck You money. Well it seems in their eyes, they have Fuck You traffic and brand awareness. To them, the cost to provide and support affiliates, plus pay 50% or PPS is just not worth it to them. They have obviously made the choice that they save money by working with a few whale affiliates that they have, and don't give a piss about anyone else. Been obvious for a very long time that MindGeeK has been going that way.

We don't share that mindset at all.

This is a lost marketing opportunity or a culling of the herd -- without the real numbers I have no idea. If your traffic is valuable (will convert) find a new home for it and move on -- lessons learned. Use a dynamic linking schema -- JavaScript/AJAX perhaps with a server side database that you can switch over in a heartbeat.

they got rid of most of the promo materials because they don't work any more and they're a waste of everyone's time.

if mindgeek actually wants your traffic, they contact you directly and offer you custom banner codes like the ones on pornhub, and they tell you that you can take videos directly off of their paysites (brazzers, etc) and cut them down to 5-10 minutes and put them on your own sites...as long as you show their custom banners.

Point is, their whole business model revolves around getting cut-down videos from brazzers/etc on lots of different tube sites (even competitors like xhamster, xvideos) and showing their own banners (for brazzers/etc) next to them. So if you're not a tube owner with lots of traffic, they don't care about you anymore.

For most affiliate programs these days probably 90% of their sales come from ad networks, media buyers, etc. who don't need any free promo tools, just good ads.

For most of them it's not worth spending all the time on creating all the promo tools and having support for the 1000s of 'small accounts'. They rather put that time and money into creating the best banners for the networks and their big affiliates and also things like backend development, billing flow optimizations, machine learning, etc. as that makes them more money.

It's a business, the old school affiliate model is pretty dead so I can imagine they don't want to put more time and money into that but focus on the things that work instead.

As others mentioned there are still some programs left that get most of their sales from affiliates and still update their promo tools like clockwork so the best is to switch to those kind of programs if you still need those.

That depends on the objective and size of the program. MG has made the decision that they make more money, focusing on the whales and media buyers needs, than providing resources to deal with the small scale webmasters. If the money they made from supporting these affiliates made sense, they would still be doing it. For them doing full support for these levels of affiliates is a net loss.

There are plenty of programs out there, like ours, that still feel the support costs are lower than the revenues earned by catering to these affiliates.

Same here actually. Just the day Babes.com moved to the AdultForce, the new sales gone to almost none. The old rebills are still good but there are really few new ones. I talked to them about it and they ensured me that nothing has changed in their funnel and billing. But it doesn't really look like that.

If AF is failing your specific affiliate needs, there are certainly alternatives.
