I want to run a paying member area on my adult site.
The traffic is worldwide (US & Europe). My company is based in Europe and I have a VAT number.
So for european customers I have to collect VAT and reverse it to the country of the customer.
For US customers I don't have anything to do.
1) I was thinking about opening a Onlyfans account. My members have to register to my onlyfans => they can access to the member area of my site.
The good point of Onlyfans is that they collect and reverse VAT themselves. So I will only have 1 line for my accountant every month.
The bad point, Onlyfans dont have any api, so it will be hard to handle who subscribe and for which duration my members subscribe... Also its not perfectly made for website content.
I dont care about the 20% commission they do all the VAT stuff so for me it's perfect.
Patreon is doing the same, but they dont accept adult content.
2) Im watching Verotel, CCBill, Probiller... They dont provide any information for VAT for european customers.
So I just have to bill the final amount including VAT on their payment process. And handle myself the VAT with my accountant
3) Maybe another service like OF or Patreon doing payment process + vat redistribution for european customers in the same time exist ?
