Defenders of Cosby, who had faced up to 30 years in prison, declared victory and slammed the prosector for bringing a weak case to satisfy political ambition. But the prosecutor, Montgomery County District Attorney Kevin Steele, declared that he would retry the case, meaning that in as little three months, the entire spectacle could play out once again.
